The Union Pacific
UP Roster
Timetable

The UP Runs from Southeast
Wisconsin to Northwestern Wi.
My favorite location is
Butler Yard where I once
worked as a switchman
for the old CNW.
You can also catch the UP
north of Duplainville in Sussex.
They don't run as many trains as
the CP or CN but you can catch
some interesting consists and
Power.

One nice spot to catch the UP
in action is the South end of
Butler Yard.
It's located at the NE corner
of 124th St. & Capitol Dr.
Look for the Home Depot
parking lot and you'll see
the double mainlines to the
east.

Hwy 100 & Burleigh is
another nice area to catch
freights leaving southward.

On the north end, 1 block
north of Silver Spring, is
the east /west split known
as BJ.

Northeast of the yard on the
Northwest side of Milwaukee
is the Fonda Siding.
It's located at 91st Street
and Florist.
Some times the Sheboygan
Coal Trains will be staged
there.

The Road Railers run
through Butler twice a day.
Usually South in the morning
and North in the afternoon.
